Anahola Granola is now featured on KVIC, the Kauai Visitor’s Channel.
Last Fall I got a call from Ryan Pointer from KVIC who said he wanted to run a story on Anahola Granola. After emails flew back and forth, setting up the details of the “shoot”, Ryan and Bruce Smalling arrived at the bakery in old Hanapepe town on a sunny and slightly windy day. These guys were amazing; laden down with cameras, equipment and lively spirits. With their camera rolling and a mike attached to my t-shirt, I began talking as I stood in front of a mass of pink and white bougainvillea blossoms outside our building. After 3 ½ hours, I was still talking about Anahola Granola and my story. Before they left, I sent them off with lots of granola and Maca Mania bars as a big thank you.
This video is part of a tour of Kauai, shown on the KVIC channel. It’s an incredible way for a visitor to experience different parts of the island and what there is to offer in each area. The show portrays information about businesses, restaurants, farmer’s markets, towns and the people of Kauai. Watch the video of Anahola Granola and learn something about the business and how we make our delicious Anahola Granola and MacaMania bars on Kauai.
