Oats provide a great deal of fiber, are a prime source of the complex carbohydrates with twice as much protein as brown rice and impressive levels of vitamins Ingredientsand minerals.

Sunflower seeds contain healthy unsaturated fats, protein and fiber, plus important nutrients like vitamin E, selenium, copper, zinc, folate, iron and phytochemicals.

Not only are sesame seeds a very good source of manganese and copper, they are also a good source of calcium, iron, phosphorous, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber.

Our honey is locally raised and harvested by bee keepers in Hawaii. It is well known that honey is composed of a variety of sugars and enzymes. Due to the type of sugar, the absorption is different than refined sugars and there Tropical Granolais less of a “rush” to the body.

All of our fruit is unsulpured (not treated with a toxic chemical, sulphur dioxide) and unsweetened (except the ginger which is sweetened with cane sugar).

We use expeller-pressed non-GMO Canola Oil.  Also, there are no trans-fats in our granola cereal or in our MacaMania bars.

Macadamia nuts are naturally low in saturated fat and contain 80 percent monounsaturates (the “good” fats) and have no cholesterol, which means that macadamia nuts actually contain a higher percentage of monosaturates than found in olives or olive oil.

Walnuts are an important plant source of Omega-3 fatty acids, high in protein and low in saturated fats and cholesterol-free.
